I've long said that it's the funny little things in life tht keep me going. But, in order to avoid a possible ticking off from other site members, let me say that there is nothing intrinsically funny about an ambulance breaking down. It means there's one less in service that may be urgently needed.
Right, that's the disclaimer out of the way, now on to the funny side of things.
I was approaching a roundabout this morning when a recovery vehicle pulled alongside me with a broken down ambulance on the back. In the 63 years I've been on this planet, that was the first time I'd witnessed that scenario. As he pulled away, I noticed that on the side of the ambulance it read: 'High Dependancy Unit.'
As I said, it's the little things that keep me going.
