Mind if I ask where you're getting the main ingredient from?

I love pumpkins in all forms and am actually heading to East St market today see if there might be some there... As for recipes, I like the basic stuff but I bet it would be super with some pancetta and croutons.

Chop and fry and onion, add the cubed pumpkin, fry until golden, add stock, simmer until really soft. Puree in your mixer, return to pot and add sour crème. Simmer to thicken it a bit.

Dry- roast some pumpkin seeds and make some croutons. Add both to the soup before serving.

The pumpkins we used came from a friends garden in Bucks'

havent made any since last halloween

I like the sound of katia's recipe so have copied it down
