Still scratching my head a little re Blackwood Street, Jan. I think I know roughly where it is, but it's a bit of a jumble of a map inside my head as it's been so long since I was down that way. There were a few little side streets off the lane at that end: Blendon Row, Orb Street, Dawes Street etc. I'm sure the fog will clear and I'll pinpoint it sooner or later.

On the subject of pubs etc., how about a 'Bevvie' of brewers?

I've missed your talk about Blackwood Street, but if you put it in Google Maps you'll see it comes off East Street, as do Orb Street and Dawes Street. I can't see a Blendon but there is a Brandon.
Have you used Streetview, Chalkey? You can snoop round your old haunts.

I saw this somewhere:
A fraid of ghosts.
