Hi all

In September I have a weeks holiday, but I still don't know where to
go!?!? Originally I was going to ibiza with a group of mates but now im
doing the romantic thing with my other half. Thing is I just don't know where?

I don't want a cheap beach holiday to costa del ****wit and I dont fancy
long haul, so any recommendations greatly appreciated. I'm looking for
somewhere relaxing, beautiful, with greenery and/or beaches, history, great
food and warm weather.

So far I'm told Sorrento on the Amalfi Coast fits this best, but it's quite
pricey....anyone have any ideas for holidays they can recommend?

Cheers, Tess

Well for my money some of the less touristy places in Spain win hands down. are you going after the kids go back to school? if so you could check out some of the cheap flights, easyjet etc and and hire cheap car and the world rodney is your lobster.

The thing about spain is its so bloody cheap when you get out there we 8 of us rented an apoartment in the centre of barcelona last year and paid about 14 a night each for it.

Try looking at the villages/towns in adelucia

No problem

I meant to mention - the travel agent in Borough High st is really good 'Baxter Hoare'??? normally I wouldn't touch travel agents with a barge pole but I had to use them a while ago and they were really good actually listened to what I wanted and spent a lot of time wading through screens to get a good price - not your normal chain agent that just try to sell you any old holiday

Go to Greece. Anywhere in Greece. Thassos is nice, as is the Pelaponnese. The SW of Corfu is really pretty - and less touristy than other bits.
