As much as I love the views of SE1 (St Pauls as I look over the Thames etc.), I must say that wearing a walkman really makes the commuting experience all that much more complete. Now I see where the phrase 'soundtracks of our lives' comes from.

So for me at the moment, it's Jane's Addiction on the way to work, and The Libertines provide my 'going home' music.

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one tapping my feet and bobbing my head as I walk, anyone else got any songs/albums that have become 'attached' to SE1 in their minds?

I used to wear a walkman, but found that listening to Music For Airports would get me to work in a wonderfully serene state of mind, but half an hour late.

I don't use one because it distracts me from the sound of everything else, which I actually like.
