well, i will never understand how they work out the postcodes... se1 is this area and se2 is Woolwich!!! or se16 being next to se1.... but i guess you are right Mr Ivanhoe... so i have now changed the subject thread... including OR.

Apparently the centre of the postal area (eg. NW, SE etc..) is given the number 1 - therefore London Bridge/ Southwark is SE1. Then it goes alphabetically - Abbey Wood being SE2 etc.....

Blimey I'm bored (or is it sad?)

Welcome Flipper,
I am impressed that you believe that you need 2 postcodes worth of gay blokes to

a) meet your criteria ; or more worringly
b) satisfy your, errm, needs

Are you going to join us on 26th Feb? See the post under "SE1 discussion"

We'd love to see you, Kevin

Continuing with my sad postcose fettish Flipper - I shall explain again....

If we take the West of London.....
W1 is the centre of the Region (not geographically but because it is nearest to Central London).

It then goes alphabetically...W3 = Acton, W4= Chiswick, W5 = Ealing, W6 = Hammersmith, W7 = Hanwell, W8 = Holland Park, W9 = Maida Vale etc, etc....

The only one which doesn't fit this is W2 (Bayswater)
Hope this explains it better (good thing i'm not a teacher)
