I was wondering if there is anyone in this forum who has experienced significant delays in getting treatment (or who have been heavily affected by cuts to services) with the NHS and is willing to share their story on camera?
I am currently working with an NGO on an advocacy campaign to expose the profit-driven R&D model of the pharma industry – they research the most profitable drugs more than the ones which are needed by patients.
This has a huge impact on the NHS, which is the main buyer of medicines. The interviews would be about how long you had to wait before having your scan done or to be referred to a specialist – this will help make the point that expensive medicines mean less money spent where it really matters.
The interviews will be used in a website which will be released in July.
It will take no more than 30 minutes – anyone willing to share their story? Thanks!
