Once again the hapless Jeremy hunt is pursued by the vultures but actually the present situation has been magnified by new labour and Blair who increased GP salaries whilst simultaneously cutting their hours and ending their contract of community care that is why NHS a n e etc is in such a psarlous state and new year eve St Thomas hospital stopped admitting patients because revellers were stopping ambulances gaining accessvto Timmy and were diverted to Kings hospital Denmark hill.

Having moved out of se1 , I then had to find a GP. At my old gps.you would ring for an appointment, the phone phone rang or engaged tone.
Ringing new surgery had answer straight away, explained needed prescription, doctor phones back job done I thought. In the afternoon rang back to see if prescription was ready. Answered immediately then I got ..push one for reception, two for prescriptions, three, four, five etc. Pushed the relevant one, it rang for two minutes then dropped into number unobtainable...several sodding minutes wasted later...gave up, I would have thrown the phone out of the window...now long for my old gps...even though he was not perfect at least I could get through to him or receptionist! Moan over!

It's amazing, when I look at the furore regarding Trumps proposals then look at what Obama got away with without any fuss at all, it reminds me of how Blair, having our trust because he was Labour, was able to tie this millstone around the neck of the NHS without any fuss at all. If that had of been the Tories there would have been a million man (and Women) march.

Let's face it though, the NHS is a socialist ideal, the Tories hate it with a passion, I include Blair in that.

Just heard this bloke on the radio, Bob Gill, I think he's nailed it and I've been saying it since New Labour's term in office.

http://selloff.org.uk/

He just said on the radio that there are three prizes in destroying the NHS....land (don't we know it), budget and data. Frightening eh?
