Hello everyone,

I'm new to the forum, if this is in the wrong section let me know!

Half term is approaching and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for fun things to do with my Children? We are already planning to see family and do some outdoor activities, but I am looking for craft activities for them to do inside if it is raining. Over the summer we made an aeroplane out of milk cartons and cardboard - which they really enjoyed.

So I am looking for more crafts/educational things to do with them. What is your favourite craft website?

Here are some ideas I have

Please share yours :-) :-)

Cut newspapers into diamond shapes, roll them around knittiting needle after gluing ( we would use flour paste in old days!) so they look like beads, when dry slide them off paint them with poster paints whatever, if you have any clear varnish and children's age permits it when dry thread them on string voila Christmas decorations! we used to ask local pubs for caps off beer bottles, they were beautiful colours then, bend them in half and make curtains to hang at back door to keep flies out! Lol. Should add when knitting needles are metal put smear of Vasoline on if they get stuck..

I do crafts every weekend with my kids whenever I can, I usually browse on reddit for ideas. Try checking that out.
