These clowns outside BBC and All Souls Church are disgusting reptobates... perhaps they would be more usefully employed praying in church seeking God's guidance if they don't agree with some political issue etc

As a Christian Paramount I struggle to understand why you support a figure like Trump.

Well he is a Christian. Giving his testimony recently at Billy Graham funeral. Alongside Pat Boone etc
Being a Christian means faith do sent mean you will change into an Angel over night.. only God sees and knows the black heart which can be changed whiter than snow! Now isn't that a glorious conception? And as a former Young Socialist..

Tolstoy .. I can readily testify that religion is not necessarily the opium of the people... having tried and tested it and other r things over the years

I doubt your beloved Trump seeks "God's guidance" praying in church. He probably thinks he is god by now - you know, omnipotent and all that, coming over to the UK and interfering with our politics in a way the EU never could, and sheep like you lapping it up. Emancipate yourself, Para - nature gave you a mind of your own, don't let your deference to US Presidents and other alleged omniscient forces take that away from you. Be strong - you're a human being, not a sheep.

What's the minimum number of people that it's acceptable to insult on this forum?

Paramount has just described tens of thousands of people as "disgusting reptobates (sic)". I think he probably meant reprobates.

Would it be OK for me, for instance, to call one person a "jackboot-licking reactionary prig"?

I just fail to understand Paramount, always and in all ways.

Now, according to the 'Good Book of Paramount' demonstrators are re-classified as 'clowns and disgusting reprobates'.

It would seem that the Trump brain worm has infected our dear correspondent, Paramount.
'Attack the messenger and ignore the message' or dismiss it as fake news, describe the protesters as something other than what they are, ordinary concerned citizens from every walk of life and representing the millions who could not be there.Sounds quite Trumpish.

Paramount, you should be ashamed of yourself. Where are your Christian ethics now?
Did you really want to be the one who cast the first stone?

And yet your Christian values fail when describing others as 'disgusting reptobates...' (sic).

You might want to think of yourself as one of God's chosen but with that attitude, I fear the gates will remain firmly closed.

Obviously the definition of a christian is a very wide, if not random one these days. Everyone can call themselves a christian these days it seems, use it to justify their views with it and just pass on responsibility for their opinions and actions to religion. A lot of Christianity is self-righteous radicalism these days and abused as such. Just look at Westboro and the radical anti-abortion protesters, who fortunately are increasingly prevented by law to perpetrate their antagonising practices. In WW2, the Wehrmacht had belt buckles that said "God with us". Says it all, really.

In your world, Paramount, being a Christian seems an apt excuse for anything Trump says or does, in his twisted way of course.
His take on Christianity seems perverse as in 'Suffer little children to come unto me, and I will cage them'.
I am sure those other admirable people who were passionate Christians would have welcomed Trump into their order of "Inquisitors'.
They may have burned people alive but they were Christians so we must excuse them.
And still you admire him and condemn the protesters.

A lot of people have been killed in the name of different brands of religion. Blair and George W. passed the bucket on the Iraq war to god as well.
