Apparently he's set to star in a film called "Bobby" being released sometime this year. It's about the assassination of Bobby Kennedy. Recent info about him on the Internet is pretty hard to come by though - all I can find movie biog that seems to peter out in 2001 (after a run of instantly forgettable films).

Isn't Ally Sheedy currently starring in "When Harry Met Sally" here in London?

He was excellent in Repo Man.

...if you press it, they will come.

I think it's Molly Ringwald in When Harry Met Sally.

Oops, yes, it is Molly Ringwald.

in a spirit of civic-minded duty (is this what you mean Mr Blair when you bang on about no more 1960's liberalism?) I have taken the time (well, 2 mins really) to assemble a short list of links on Brat Pack movies - using the overworked wage-slave's trusty friend, Google.

Personally I shudder to think that I spent some of the precious years of my youth watching and re-watching the Breakfast Club and St Elmo's Fire, but we all have our crosses to bear.

(and at the time didn't they just seem great!?)

Have you seen that The Thrills have released a single called Whatever Happened to Corey Haim?

Not quite Emilio Estevez but similar...

I'd never really thought about it, and had probably just gone along with the alien stiryline and not questioned it too much. On reflection, it's probably never made clear, and that's just one of the many mystical things about Repo Man.

It's one of the few films I've liked so much that I ended up buying a copy, so if I watch it again soon I'll pay extra careful attention to see if they ever definitely say it's an alien or whatever.
