ITV3 started at 9pm tonight and glancing through the Radio Times for the week I see --:
A Touch of Frost, Maigret, Dragnet, Murder in Suburbia, The Bill, Quincy, Taggart, Cadfael.
In short another channel of repeats. Why bother? Although they do say they'll be showing the occasional film.

ITV3 is on Freeview 34. Press 'MENU' on remote and reinstall software
rather than add new channel as there are a couple of updates on other channels

they obviously think that there's a market out there, and they get extra revenue from the adverts!

I agree - there's already Millionaire repeats on Challenge, so why have another channel which repeats it once or twice nightly?

It has got to be worth having an extra channel if they show more of 'The Bill'.

They're not showing The Bill on ITV3 at the moment though - the last minute closure of Plus (based in Hatfields SE1) and the unexpected appearance of ITV3 on satellite at launch means that there are rights issues with showing repeats of The Bill free-to-air on Satellite.

They are showing 'The Bill Uncovered' one offs though. This is much better than the repeating the old stuff as UK Gold do.
