Has anyone else received this e-mail on the e-mail address they use on this forum...

"We just wanted to send you this email to let you know about a new site to discuss London. We have setup a website to provide you with a place to talk about London and its boroughs, a place to store your photos about London, a personal Web Log (a journal),
one of the largest restaurants lists for London (with user reviews) and a free talkaboutlondon.com email address."

Must have been pretty labour intensive for them to look up everyone's details!

My details are hidden Rabbie.

[besides, i reckon they're just targetting cool SE1-ites like yourself. have you been spending too much time amongst the bright young things of bermondsey st?]

...if you press it, they will come.

Yes, I received it too. How tedious.

If they have been harvesting addresses from here then I shall send them a complaint, for what it's worth.

Saying "this is not spam" does not excuse the sending of spam!

No. But it adds a certain surrealist element that I find missing in a lot of spam.
