Which form of the plural do you use?

Gosh, although I learned Latin for ten years, I guess I've never thought about Forums or Forae...let's look in the OED.

So the dictionary says Forums or Fora...which is heaps of help. I think I probably say forums, but of course fora is the original..will look in my Latin dictionary too....ah, etymology...such fun.

I would say fora, but that is because in Dutch Forums is no option. The plural for Museum is Musea (in Dutch)

IIRC at least one of the more recent shorter OEDs suggests that the plural fora should be confined only to the original Roman meaning of open marketplaces, and that the metaphorical extension to marketplaces of ideas should be anglicised as forums.

I say forums when talking about bulletin boards.
