Hi All

I'm moving flat soon and am getting rid of as much stuff as I can. I have a couple of old computers that I no longer use, but don't want to just chuck out.
I heard some time ago that you could donate your unwanted computers to charity, but now can't find the website/telephone number.
Has anyone heard of a charity which would be interested. They both work, but are a little outdated, the desk-top in particular is probably only good for spares.

Regards

John.

If you are in Southwark, CRISP (Community Recycling in Souhwark Project) is just what you need.

They run a project called OFFERS which collects old computers, refurbishes them and sells at minimal cost to community groups etc. Less good computers are used for parts, and completely useless ones are dismantled and recycled (this is costly, hence the need to sell rather than give away the refurbished computers), so nothing goes into landfill.
