Now it seems the ralgex company has decided not to make the Ralgex sticks any more ( clean envionmentally friendly, no sprays,no mess on fingers etc) I have decided to make me own. I know the base is capsicum, so was thinking about chopping up some chillies, softening them over a gentle heat in some vaseline or trex, but what could I use to make it hard? I often make elderflower hand cream for softening the skin and use lard or vaseline a cream is not what I need for my back or legs....:-)

Basic Lotion Bar

3 oz. beeswax
3 oz. cocoa butter
3 oz. sunflower oil (may substitute sweet almond, jojoba, etc.)
essential oil or fragrance oil
Melt beeswax and cocoa butter together in top of double boiler.
When melted, add sunflower oil and stir until completely mixed.
Stir until mixture cools slightly before adding essential oils, about
1 teaspoon. Pour into molds and let harden.

A quick Google found this Jan, I may have this for my pudding!
