May we hope for some sense from the planning department and some reversals of the horrible decisions the DPM has imposed upon the whole SE1 area???? Never was I happier to see the back of ANYONE/

He's losing his department, but remains deputy leader and deputy PM.

They haven't said where the ODPM's current staff and responsibilities are being transferred yet though. Defra?

Glad to see that sleeping with your staff is a misdemeanour that needs dealing with almost immediately, whereas the incompetencies of the rest of the cabinet are presumably OK to rumble on as they are for a while.

the only worrying thing is that it is a knee jerk reaction to public opinion and may not give us something better just different
