Off on a long holiday, going to Montpelier France. I have a spare seat, just share cost of petrol. Taking two days to do it, and stopping at a campsite half way there.
Leaving this weekend.

A much more agreeable way of getting to Montpellier (that is the correct spelling by the way) is by Eurostar to Lille and then direct TGV. All the way there with just one change of train, in about 6 hours altogether.

Well, have a nice time. Montpellier is a very civilised city, with a charming car-free mediaeval centre and a brilliant tram network. Also you can be by the shores of the Mediterranean in 20 minutes. I wish I was going there for 5 weeks.
