Was I the only person to be disappointed that the free wallchart with today's Manchester Guardian did not include notes on the suitability of each variety for cider making?

IMHO this sadly diminishes its usefulness as an educational tool for the nation's youth.

OH, what a shame to miss this ;0(

In the absence of guidance, I think the safest thing is to assume all apples are good for cider until proved otherwise.

After all, some of the nation's favourite "ice-ciders" have scarcely seen an apple in their lives.

...if you press it, they will come.

How quaint, Rabbie, to call it The Manchester Guardian, thought the name had died an honourable death some while back....loved the title of this threat, couldnt imagine what it could possibly be about. Fortunately I do not have one single intelligent thing to add re apples and cider, which must be a relief to you all.

Not only read it - I had a letter published in it yesterday (he says proudly).

Would you like to go with me?
Wherever I'm going
Are you *really* asking?
Is that your *real* answer?
