I hope this doesn't come under advertising, James - if it does please delete ...

We are trying to get rid of our double sofa bed as a new one is being delivered today - have tried Freecycle and everyone is interested until they realise they have to collect it ...

The description is as follows and we'd love it to go to a good home or charity as there's plenty of use in it still ... anyone know anyone? I'd be able to keep it until Weds at a push ...

"It measures 6.5ft by 3ft by 3ft so would need a
transit van or similar for collection; plus an extra
person to help carry it

It has been our sofa for the last 4-5 years and we are
finally replacing it for one with storage

It is in good used condition - we got the one with a
firmer mattress from the Futon Company - if this link
works it is most similar in style (not colour) to the
Oke 3 seater without the slatted wooden grille efffect
to ends:
http://www.futoncompany.co.uk/en/1/buysof1.html

The mattress is pale grey/beige but is marked due to
spillages over the years - we have covered it with a
throw.

The arm ends are a pale wood

It seats 3/4 people quite comfortably and opens up so
you sleep lengthways along the bed not feet first into
the room like some sofa beds

It has been repaired as one of the struts underneath
had given way

Would be ideal for a spare room (especially with
Christmas coming) or a studio flat

We are on the second floor of a block of flats - there
is a lift

IT HAS TO GO THIS WEEKEND OR BY MONDAY LUNCHTIME AT
LATEST otherwise it will have to be collected by
council"
