Thinking of day trips when it gets warmer in the next couple of months. Can anybody recommend an area where they are good "cider tours", maybe in Norfolk or somewhere like that? If you know of ayhting specific that would be helpful.

top 3 are all Herefordshire (of course. Where else to go for top quality cider), but the ukcider site will show you producers in all regions of the uk.

Kent has Biddenden (nice day out if you do one of the orchard walks - and v near to Sissinghurst if you like gardens)

Suffolk has Aspalls (but I think you need to call beforehand to go there)

Both Hfdshire and Somerset have cider routes/trails (google them) which will take you round several producers where you can look and taste.

Hope that helps. I'm off to Herefordshire for the week myself today
