For those who don't read the 'Socials' threads;

a group of SE1'ers are going to be making cider this coming autumn - probably round about the last weekend of October/first weekend of Nov.

If anyone is interested in helping to make or indeed making some cider, please do check out the thread in socials and leave a comment so we know you're interested.

do all the apples have to be the same variety? would windfalls be acceptable?

not at all - most cider is made from a variety of apples, to get all the right things, bitter, sharp, etc. though it is possible to make single variety cider, one example is Katy apples.

Windfalls would indeed be acceptable.
