Hi everyone,

We have just launched a website called People's Republic of Southwark, a place for a range of environmental issues around the borough.

We are two Camberwell based artists who believe that there are many little and big things we can all do, individually or together, to improve our lives, improve the environment, relearn to breathe and let the planet do the same before it's too late.

People's Republic of Southwark is a place to

* write and/or read about current environmental issues in the borough
* exchange ideas and share your experiences
* find out about resources and funding available in Southwark for environmental initiatives
* learn about what other people are doing, and how you can get involved
* get support for any environmental projects you are involved with

People's Republic of Southwark is about all of us. All you need to do is register and make a difference.

Couldn't see a link to this wonderful site on your "Links" page?

That's a good point actually - I think it will be worth creating a links group for 'local forums', as there's a few of those at the moment & environmental issues do come up every now and again.

thanks Boss
