...Bermondsey girl.

Regardless of what folks think of her I sincerely hopes she pulls through her latest test - the prospect of facing an "urgent" hysterectomy, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Hope she makes it.

Well, I do too. I like Jade.

I find it so sad, this young girl has children and has now been told her life expectancy is weeks rather than years. When she first came on our screens I remember thinking by heck is this the result of 11/12 years of council education.. then as the weeks continued and the stories continued about her dreadful home life I found myself admiring her. I was so pleased when what ever the public thought of her she bounced back and earned money for her children's future, tellingly now she states that she wants them to have have private schooling so they can have the chance she never had..
I am amazed when people are critical of her being paid for articles in the media, it just shows how brave and courageous she is.

As mentioned above, I have had a soft spot for Jade Goody since she appeared on Big Brother. I am really saddened by her misfortune and I have respect for how she decided to deal with it.

Jade is a lovely local lass and a great Mum, who in the past has been served very poorly by the media after her appearance in Big Brother and so on. It is so sad to hear of her illness and her prognosis, I agree with Maurits, BSB and Jan The Old One, I too have a great deal of respect for her.

Really? You respect her decision to commercialise her cancer and use Max Clifford to the full in the final weeks? I find it terribly sad.

Well that's one way of seeing it. You can call it 'commercialise' or 'raise awareness'. The number of pap smear tests has increased significantly since Jade decided to go public with it. And, I don't think there is anything against making some money along the way.

So, yes respect and compassion: heartfelt.

I just read "Jade has opted for a cockney theme for her wedding. Around 300 guests will eat whelks, mussels, jellied eels, pie and mash and fish and chips."

She is doing it to raise money for her kids future to make sure they get a better life than she had so why noy use max clifford and whoever else if it puts money in the kitty for them as she will not be around to do it. Just hope it will be in a trust for them and them alone.

agree with dee dee...If I was in Jades position I would climb everest to ensure my children had more of a chance in life.

I hope the money that will be held in trust for the children will be safe being held for seven years to avoid inheritance tax with no problems.
