Dear all,

You will now find that it is necessary to "log in" before posting. Creating a username is quick and easy.

This has several advantages:

- with the previous system it was very easy for an imposter to assume the identity of a regular contributor

- you can now receive email responses to messages without making your email address public on the website

- you now edit your user profile, and use a signature on your messages if you wish, as with many other forums

Rest assured that your registration information (eg email address) will not be given to any third parties or used for any other purpose than the administration of this forum.

Finally, we do encourage you to use your own name on this forum where possible. We provide this forum so that people who live and/or work in SE1 can discuss local issues and events, not so that those with an axe to grind can abuse the anonymity of the web to pursue their own interests.

As ever, any questions/comments will be gratefully received - either by email to or on the forum.

Best wishes,
