When usinng the Google london-se1.co.uk option for "Museum of Garden History, why don't I get the news story that you posted a link to as a search result???

That page is in Google's index.

However there are various reasons this sort of thing can happen.

Obviously Google's index is so vast it has to have many datacentres to handle the demand, and the indices held by all those datacentres are not always in sync.

So depending which datacentre handles your request when you do a Google search, you may see different results.

That's one possibility.
