Remembering a conversation from Saturday evening seems unremarkable as gifts go... but Rambling Phil you can have up to +4 based on current planning... your call ;-)

I can now make it to pub quiz at The Crown for 7pm. Date has got stuck in Lille (thanks Eurostar!)

Good to see everyone at the Crown last night, and to meet some new people.

In case you ran off before end and didn't hear the results, the SE Wonderful team came second. The SE Wonders didn't do quite so well.

As is so often the case, there were no prizes for second place.

Just smugness.

hey the SEwonders can still be smug for coming 6th from 8. not over 8th place though as they got a bottle of bubbly for coming last. but 7th place - YOU SUCKED!

and yes I'm still miffed that you could play a joker on any round (for double points), but were not told before hand that the rounds each had different numbers of points available, or how many points! grrr.
(only miffed because we ended up playing it on the last round, which only had 4 questions! and we didn't win)

Too bad I could not make it - would have easily helped getting to last place, I'm particulalry rubbish at quizes ;o)

I think Plum would have got a few more of the book, and music ones. We'd have whooped your ass Sophie!
