http://www.designmuseum.org/talks/design-overtime supposed to have some knitting connection. Can't see it myself.

...if you press it, they will come.

I think "I Knit London" is orgnaising yet another night tonight in The Mulberry.
Julie Wednesday 16 January 2008 3.48pm
Funnily enough I had clocked that already ...

But this DOES have your name on it (except I know your name does not begin with A)

And TUMJ could knit you one as she's keen to get going ...

And I promise to post some dates for a get-together soon - too busy with a mouse to even think about dpns!
Julie Wednesday 16 January 2008 3.55pm
They are in the Mulberry tonight and I so wanted to go along but I can't get away from that pesky mouse ...

So to dates:

How about the last Monday in the month (28th) in the Leather Exchange, corner of Leathermarket St and Weston St from 7.30pm?

I will be there brandishing my dpns so should be easily identifiable!

I thought my life was often bleak and pointless...

...until I followed that link and saw that there are people who think of the idea of apple cosies, and then don't stop there but actually go on and make them and share the pattern with the rest of the world. I'm now much cheerier.

...if you press it, they will come.
Julie Wednesday 16 January 2008 5.13pm
Come along on the 28th and I can guarantee that your life will at least no longer be pointless ...

'Bleak' I can't help with ...
Tattie Friday 18 January 2008 1.09pm
28th should be OK. Have put it in my diary!
Ivanhoe Friday 18 January 2008 2.35pm
You never know. If one of you can show me how to sew a button on a shirt neatly, then I might well come down on the 28th with a pile of shirts and buttons. If that goes OK, then maybe I'll come the next time and someone can teach me to darn holes in socks.

And if there's a pattern for a crocheted squirrel-catcher then that'd be a fantastic project before the growing season starts ;0)

Don't ever joke about subjects that you patently know nothing about ...

Crocheted womb.

One word.

WHY?
