Having spent time trying to find a site myself, albeit when the market was more buoyant and with a much lower budget, it's not easy! Presumably you're in touch with Don Walsh at Kalmars, he has a pretty good idea of what's coming up. I would also try Field and Sons, Edward Symmons and Edwards on Southwark Street
and generally put the word out with most of the local residential agents too if you haven't already done so as they do tend to know what's about, even if they're not actually marketing it.
Also try Andrews and Robertson's auction catalogue - they are Southwark Council
's preferred agent for land/property disposals.
You could also proactively find sites that look suitable, check with the Land Registry who owns them and make a direct approach.
I think the Colorama building is a lot bigger than you need and is up for £5m which may well be why it's been for sale for years.
