I bought my flat on Reverdy Road
in 2007 and am a leaseholder (Southwark council owns the freehold). In May 2007, there was a major works programme done on these properties which in my case involved painting window frames, doors and the front gate. I paid the estimate ages ago and am just now getting the final invoice which is more than the estimate (and based on someone else's property)! I have asked for documentation of what was actually done with costs and apparently the council doesn't have this so they are now sending over a building inspector to try and assess what was done in May of 2007!? Is anyone else in this situation?
