I know this is a old joke but here goes;

A penguin had to take his car for engine repair.

The mechanic told the penguin to leave his car with him for about two hours, to find out whats wrong.

The penguin goes across the street to a grocery store, climbs into a freezer and ate vanilla ice cream.

When the two hours was up the penguin went back to the garage to find out what happened to his car.

When the penguin entered the garage, the mechanic looked at him and said, "Looks like you blew a seal."

The penguin replied, "NO way, thats vanilla ice-cream!"

Horay for celine!

I have been following this thread with mild, (very mild), interest.
Initially because as an animal lover I found it remarkable that a seal would rock up and cavort around Shad Thames.
I ventured down there at various times but caught nary a glimpse, never mind.
However, the oppprobium heaped on a poster who dared to state that she found Celine Dion's voice good but perhaps went a step too far in stating the obvious about Seal's looks surprised me greatly.
I've seen Miss Dion on stage, and I freely admit to liking her voice, and I have three CD's of her singing in French.
To Debrajoan I would say, your credibility is not shot as far as I am concerned, ignore the criticising pygmies, like who or what you like, and never be afraid to go ahead and say so.

The Celine Dion Christmas Album is a cause of strife in my household. Mark Steyn has pronounced it too cruel to inflict on terrorists during interogation. But that's no slur on anyone's credibility (quick edit).

The poster insulting him once posted on another thread defending Celine Dion.
Huge lol! FFS - That's their credibility shot then! ;o)
I am the poster who maintained that Celine Dion has a powerful voice, and a deserved devoted fan base, whether you like her songs or not you cannot dispute her singing range.
I repeat, Seal, skin disease or not, is in my opinion an extremely unattractive person.
My credibilty is shot? For stating my opinion? Some of you people are so far up yourselves you must have difficulty breathing!
