don't really appeal to me, and I think that Simon The Tanner is too small for the string quartet I was proposing for the best pub in the area http://www.london-se1.co.uk/forum/read/1/27923/page=2 but perhaps a small Dean Organ may be installed?

I'd echo Mr Bridger's sentiments about the sort of pub food that's missing around here IMHO. Some good drinking snacks, with a decent quotient of healthy/vegetarian options would be unique enough to draw some custom, I'd have thought. As well as giving you an excuse to stay in the pub (because it's well known that vegetables neutralise cider).

And whilst we're on the cider point, I'd just say that one of the most available ways of getting draught cider is in a 15l manucube. We'd finish that in an evening if we had a social at Simon's. If someone could crack getting a regular supply of different ciders and perries to willing pubs, there could be something that would really work. A different, fresh, draught cider or perry every week or fortnight would be fantastic. I'll make a call or two about that.
