They used to be a Saab main dealer, but have since gone independant, and deal extensively in used Saabs.

I'm not sure why they parted ways with Saab UK, other than there seems to be habit to merge GM (of which Saab are a marque) dealerships lately.

I haven't used them myself, though when I had to have some damage repaired on my Saab, the bodyshop I used sourced parts through Cromwell (they were still a main dealer at the time).

Thanks - I'll check out Lucky Motors. I was really looking for a Saab specialist as I think the Saab stamp looks better than a general garage in the vehicle log book. I was using a chap just outside of Reading. He used to work at a Saab dealership before going out on his own. I'm new to the area and just gotten around to registering... (I know)

Can anyone please point me in the right direction? I need to have my oldish Saab serviced - like me there's life in the old girl yet. I don't want to go to a dealer. I'd prefer an independent mechanic specialising in Saabs. Any recommendations or suggestions?
