Been meaning to pop in and take a look around myself. Walked passed yesterday and they were redecorating the place.

Regarding running, the Greenwich Tritons triathlon club have weekly running sessions, I didn't actually get around to joining them last season but from the email correspondance I had with them, they seemed to be a friendly bunch.
