there's loads of copies through Amazon for around £3.50 and a few on Ebay for about £3-4 for those that want a bargain and don't mind a used copy.<br />

      <description><![CDATA[well I hadn't finished Engleby, but reading some old pages, on page 125 ish, Jackie R mentions that she's just finished reading Engleby, and that was back in August 2007!, so I'm way behind.<br />

anyway, nice night was had, not talking much about book, as a few people weren't that impressed with it, and it turns out that it's my turn to choose book (which of course I knew beforehand), and I came up with a short list of one, which is The Dice Man by Luke Rhinehart - which I read a while ago, and realy liked, and saw on the shelf in Asda only the other week, so it's readily available, and almost certainly under the £8 barrier....<br />

it's about a psychologist in New York in the 1970's who decides to make descisions based on the role of dice (for him and his patients)<br />
<br />
It's easily searchable on t'internet, and there's a page on Wikipedia too [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Dice_Man]here[/url]<br />
<br />
so we decided that that's the choice for next month.  First Wednesday of June.<br />
