Hi,

We are looking for office space around the Borough area.
Our perfect space would be one office with room for 5+ people, one smaller room for meetings and somewhere to make tea / coffee / microwave etc.

We are looking for somewhere that has a funky chilled vibe, and where the space is not shared. An old converted warehouse would be perfect.

Anywhere close enough to walk to from London Bridge station is perfect.

We are a web design and development company, please see our website here:
http://www.dynamic50.com

Please contact me at: contactus@dynamic50.com.

Do not contact me if you are an office broker or agent.
Thanks,

Hello, I only recently joined this as we're having to move and hoping to move back to within 10 minutes walking distance of London Bridge where we used to be based.
We're a membership association and need an office with 2 desks, or happy to share, but we need a bit of additional space to do our bi-monthly mail-outs (table and space for our duplicator). Small budget - our members are stage managers in theatre, so we're not the richest association around!
Hope someone might have some suggestions!
You can contact me via this forum.
thank you!

Are you a healthcare worker or complementary therapist Emma Wilkes & Lilja Katanka would like to invite you to a meet and greet morning.

As two Acupuncturists practising locally we are looking at ways to develop a network of healthcare workers in the area.

This will serve several purposes, firstly raising practitioner awareness of whats currently on offer in SE1, providing an introduction for potential referrals, as a means to develop practitioner development groups and also for a good chin wag!
If you are intrested in attending please respond to this thread.

Hi Tony,

We have one (maybe two) desks free in our beautiful, architect-designed, light and spacious office space, sharing with 4 others (web based jobs). You actually get your own “semi open" room.

It’s a funky bright space with high ceilings and park views. Fully equipped kitchen, meeting area with large desk, full bathroom, storage room/cupboards, several terraces and even a sleeping "pod" (ideal for power naps!). The space is secure and available immediately.
We are within walking distance from London Bridge, Borough and Tower Hill tube and train stations. Parking permit can also be arranged.
The office is situated at the heart of Bermondsey Street (one of London’s most exciting streets according to ‘Vogue’) in a vibrant area with lots of nice restaurants, pubs, boutiques, coffee shops and sandwich bars. £300/month, ALL bills and rates included with high-speed wireless broadband and cleaning.
We are looking for a 5th/6th person, ideally a like-minded friendly individual to share a positive, happy and supportive environment.
Minimum 1 months rental. 1 month refundable deposit required.
I have no idea what's happening with it other than that it's been empty for months. The carpet shop closed and some office furniture moved in but nothing since. It's not smart outside but has nice wood flooring and a reasonable sq footage. Worth checking out? You decide.

This sounds a great venture for all porridge-lovers! There's an empty property on Borough High Street/Trinity Street corner. I have no idea what's happening with it other than that it's been empty for months. The carpet shop closed and some office furniture moved in but nothing since. It's not smart outside but has nice wood flooring and a reasonable sq footage. Worth checking out? You decide.
BTW this comes from one of those older people, not one of the young people you hope to employ - you may want to check out employment and age discrimination laws before you advertise for staff!

Agents in this area mainly deal with offices that are not serviced - you may have spoken to someone like Regus who run serviced office buildings at various locations.

I think the best way to find what you are looking for would be to look at the Commercial estate agent boards in the area and give them a call.

I sent you a PM with my phone number, give me a call and I'll discuss the Weston Street office with you.

We need a space for 6 people. I posted as Estate agents only seem to have serviced offices with suspended ceilings which I find a bit creepy, we are looking for somewhere that is a bit of a shambles but has character and potential!

Hi,

Before I start: I work for a local Estate Agent so you may consider this advice biased, but it is honest advice.

This forum is a fair place to start, the only issue being that the specifics of what you want may be hard(er) to find here than via a local agent.

How many staff are you looking to accommodate?

I've sent you a PM regarding something we have that may be of interest to you.

My sister and I have an organic porridge company and thus far have been too poor to have an office. We are now selling to Waitrose and are dreaming of becoming a thriving business with a trendy workspace with young people, beanbags and 1950s furniture. For decor think Scandinavian shed meets Dorset beach hut. I have started my search for an office space near where I live in Borough and made the schoolboy error of 'registering interest' on an estate agent's website. I am now getting about 50 calls a day with people trying to get our honky tonk organic business to rent space in the gherkin. How will I ever find someone who has a scruffy on the outside, potential on the inside space to rent to us? Where do I even start? I have made a pinboard with pictures of what I dream it will be like and have been polishing mirrors to attract good fortune according to the principles of Feng Shui but I have failed. Grasshopper porridge needs a home. Help me OB1, you're my only hope.
