I will use this as a shameless excuse to promote a possible forthcoming BB service!

In line with the targets of the Bankside Travel Plan, we are hoping to set up a bicycle-based delivery service in the area.

I would much welcome any reader experiences re these delivery services in other parts of London, Europe or the World. Particularly looking to source the right vehicles - electric assist (with fuel cell?) an advantage...

Hi there,

Of course we would recommend Amano. We use them all the time and have never been disappointed. They even have an electric vehicle!

A couple of others. The Table on Southwark Street are now doing occasional deliveries. Speak to Shaun the manager. And an old favourite - Michael Mattheakis, proprietor of Harper's and Island Cafe, does excellent sandwich plates.
