Police are appealing for help in identifying a man who is thought to have jumped from Blackfriars Bridge on Friday 9 September

On Tuesday 13 September a man's body was recovered from the River Thames by police.

It is thought he is the same man that was seen to jump into the river from Blackfriars Bridge on Friday 9 September.

He is described as a well built, white man aged between 25 and 45 years, 6' to 6' 3" in height and has longish hair and a full beard, brown or ginger in colour.

When recovered he was wearing blue jeans, blue and brown short-sleeved shirt and blue and white trainers.

He has three tattoos on his back, two lizards and a snake.

Police have not been able to identify this man and would ask anybody with any information to contact PC 100s Ball at Wapping Police Station on 020 7275 4421/4415 or the City of London Coroners Office on 020 7332 1598.
