Daniel Kitson opens Waterloo’s new comedy club

London SE1 website team

Locals Ivor Dembina and Jez Feeney are opening a new live comedy venue in SE1 this weekend. Jez and Ivor already run the successful Brixton Comedy Club and now they're bringing their expertise to Waterloo.

The first two shows are on Sunday nights and then, in October, they move to Fridays.

The opening night on Sunday 22 September should be a corker because it features newly crowned Perrier award-winner Daniel Kitson. Kitson will be joined by two other comedy acts in the shape of the music and comedy of Steve Bowditch and and the intelligent and acerbic humour of Manchester based Chris Addison. Ivor Dembina will be on hand to do the introductions.

• The Florence Nightingale, 199 Westminster Bridge Road (south side of Westminster Bridge), Waterloo, London SE1
• Doors open: 7.45pm
• Show at: 8.30pm
• Pub price bar
• Admission £6/£5 (conc.)
• e-mail: [email protected]
• web: www.waterloocomedy.co.uk
