The stunt was organised by Crucifix Lane-based designer Pierre Garroudi to promote his red collection.

The models posed amid the traffic in Crucifix Lane before making their way up Bermondsey Street and along Tooley Street to London Bridge Station.

Network Rail managers were unamused by the appearance of 20 models plus dancers and photographers on the station at 5pm on one of the busiest days of the year.

The mobile fashion show made its way onto the Jubilee line en route to Trafalgar Square where the spectacle was due to continue.
