"Serious concern" for 89-year-old man missing from Lawson Estate

Police are appealing to the public for information as to the whereaboutsof an 89-year-old man who was found to be missing from his home on the Lawson Estate on Wednesday morning.

Mr Kazimirez Bilski – known to his friends as Geoff – was last seen at his home address in Burbage Close on the Lawson Estate at about 10pm on Tuesday night.

He was found to be missing shortly after 8am on Wednesday.

Police believe that Mr Bilski may have become confused, left his address and may not now be able to recall his name and other personal details, and officers are "seriously concerned" for his safety.

It is believed that he may be wearing a brown coat, brown trousers and brown leather shoes. He is Polish and is described as being white of stocky build, 5'4" to 5'6" in height, and bald.

Mr Bilski is known to have links to Westminster, Holborn and Kensal Rise.

Officers from Southwark CID are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to contact them on 020 7232 7313.
