SE1 restaurants and hotels are finding it harder to recruit staff since Britain voted to leave the European Union and businesses are putting off decisions due to political and economic uncertainty, business representatives told councillors this week.
As Southwark councillors debated the impact of Brexit on the borough, its residents and employers, Danielle Cohen and Nicole Gordon of Better Bankside addressed the meeting to offer some thoughts from the perspective of local businesses.
