Union Theatre Cafe

The Union Theatre Cafe is near the Union Street/Great Suffolk Street crossroads. Although it's on the official walking route from Southwark Station to Tate Modern it does not charge ‘tourist prices'.

Indeed Andy Obeney who runs the cafe attached to the Union Theatre stresses that there are reductions for regular customers working and living locally.

A large and very good cappuccino is 80p. A doughnut and a hot drink can be enjoyed for £1.20. The big feature is the top quality bagels from the famous Brick Lane bagel bakery.
