Disappointed
We were really disappointed in this after reading such good reviews. Everything was cold and the rice was not even edible it was so bad. The paneer was pretty good but that's the only good thing I can say I'm afraid.
Fantastic takeaway food
We're spoilt for choice in SE1 for great Indian food, and we felt a little guilty that we spurned our regular always great takeaway (Morley Tandoori) to try this place, but we weren't disappointed and will definitely return.

Very, very good food
I normally get take aways from Simply Indian, but I thought I'd give Masala Dubba a try last night. I was impressed - everything was fresh and the herb and spice combinations were beauitifully balanced in the Jeera chicken and 5 veg sides that I had. A great addition to the area!
Exceptional
It is by far the best Indian takeaway I have ever had. He ran a restaurant in Hampstead but had to close when rents became too much. On busy nights, you could wait a while for a delivery but it is worth the wait. Its a little bit more expensive than normal and but the flavours and spicing are exceptional.

Finally, a fabulous local curry & speedy service
Had our first take away from Masala Dubba tonight.

Fab flavours, good quality meats & great service. Have previously had to go further afield to find this standard of take away, but now delighted to find a really good one so local. Very speedy & friendly service when collecting.

I would encourage others to try & not be put off by previous take aways operating from that address.
