Very disappointing... without dinner
I have tried today to have dinner to the Breakfast Club in London Bridge. A disappointing experience without a dinner! We went to the restaurant around 19:30, the dining room was almost empty. Litterarly almost empty! There were 2 people at the bar and 2 other tables already occupied. We asked for a table for 2 and we have been told that was already full and that it was not possible to have dinner this evening. I thruly thought it was a joke. I have asked if that was an ironic way to welcome us, but unfortunately we have been told that it was the truth, no tables available on Friday 26th of September. I swear that place was empty! I have asked to speak with the manager and the person in front of us told us she was the manager. She told me she was waiting for some people at 19:30 and she could not give us ANY of the available seats. She did not tell us “the first available table is at X time”, or “I am sorry all the tables are booked, please take a sit at the bar” ... she just told us in a quite unpolite way that we could not have dinner there. So I told her, ok... if we cannot have dinner when the restaurant is empty and if we cannot have dinner not even later tonight it means maybe we are not welcome here, maybe we should never go back. Her answer: “yes please, feel free to do not go back in this place never again”.
