A series of workshops on the theme of love with the Globe experts. Two days of exciting insights into the work behind the scenes at the famous Globe Theatre
Working with movement director Glynn MacDonald on the body language of love, you will learn how the Elizabethans would have moved and delivered their lines on stage using their bodies to maximum effect.
Practise your Shakespearian chat-up lines with Colin Hurley, one of the Globe’s most seasoned actors, and his team, and find out how to use the words of Will to woo your loved one.
Siân Williams, Globe Choreographer, will then be demonstrating and teaching the end of show jig from In Extremis – a 12th century love story set in France to get you in the mood for the show which will be on-stage after each session of workshops.
Each session will last approximately 50 minutes. There is a maximum capacity for the Dance sessions of 40 participants, allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
