Alternative Christmas musical by the indie pop-rock trio GrooveLily.
This quirky musical retelling of Hans Christian Andersen’s fairytale The Little Match Girl fuses jazz, rock and show tunes and had its world premiere at the Daryl Roth Theater off-Broadway in 2006 to critical acclaim.
The production at Waterloo East Theatre will be directed by Simon Greiff with musical direction by John Banister.
The cast is: Simon Bailey (Passion, The Phantom of the Opera), John Banister, Rebecca Bainbridge, Natasha Barnes (Spring Awakening) and Roger Woods.
