Hlio Oiticica (1937-1980) was a significant figure in the 1950s and 1960s Brazilian avant-garde.
Colour was central to his practice and Hlio Oiticica: The Body of Colour will be the first large-scale retrospective to concentrate on the way in which Oiticica explored the sensorial potential of colour in his work.
