St John's Heritage Event

Living Memory Heritage Project and the Tenants' and Residents' Associations support group present a local heritage event.

Activities include:
• Tour of St John's Church including the 'secret' crypt and organ demonstration
• Find out about the church's redevelopment plans
• Take part in a creative workshop making a 'name river'
• Bring along your own photos and artefacts to be scanned or photographed and archived
• Have your memories of the local area recorded
• An exhibition of the history of local housing estates
Blackfriars Settlement providing free soup and bread and a selection of cakes on sale
• Free face painting and free necklace and bracelet making with Church.co.uk
