Kathryn Harries, the internationally renowned Mezzo Soprano Opera Singer has gathered together well-known friends to raise money for Bankside-based national charity Speakability by giving a special concert. Other notable performers include Linda Ormiston, Heather Tomala, Donald Maxwell, Robert Poulton and Benjamin Segal.

The concert will be hosted by Bernard Cribbins, who will use his comic flair to present the programme of famous arias, duets, solo recorder and a contribution by the talented young choir of John Ruskin Primary School.

An estimated 250,000 people in the UK suffer from language-loss known as Aphasia and a further 20,000 people will experience Aphasia each year in the UK.
